Key-triggered reading is optional and requires an administrator restart with Windows permission. English OCR support is needed only for screen reading; Get started can install it without changing your display language. Normal app startup does not have to be elevated.

Supported platform

Choose a supported display mode

Windowed or borderless fullscreen lets the desktop overlay remain visible. True exclusive fullscreen may cover it.

Adjust the companion

Choose Default, Medium or Mega, change opacity, and keep the inactive overlay click-through if preferred.

TheIsleMinimap supports 64-bit Windows 11 and Windows 10. It is designed as a desktop minimap companion for The Isle: EVRIMA Gateway. The app is not offered as a browser map, mobile app or game modification.

The minimap can remain click-through while inactive or accept mouse interaction when you need to adjust the map and settings.

The app runs separately from the game. It is not a mobile app, browser map or game modification.

TheIsleMinimap supports official servers and community servers using the currently supported Gateway map. Other maps are not currently supported.

Account, license and connectivity

Manage activation and device access through your Account Portal.

Local tools, online checks

Joining a squad is optional. Every plan still needs internet for activation and periodic license verification.

A TheIsleMinimap account is required to purchase access and retrieve the issued license key. One active installation is supported per license. Internet access is required for initial activation, periodic license verification, update checks and optional squad features.

The local map, coordinate capture, map layers, filters and movement trail do not require joining a squad.

Optional screen reading uses English OCR support to recognize the game’s Asset Location labels. Get started can install missing support without changing your Windows display language; a Windows permission prompt and internet download may be needed. Clipboard capture does not require OCR.

Install, activate, update and uninstall

  1. DownloadAfter confirmed purchase or eligible key redemption, get the current setup from your account dashboard.
  2. Install & activateRun setup, enter your license key and follow Get started. Reopen it anytime in Settings > Position Updates.
  3. Keep it currentUse Check for Updates and Service Status inside the app.
  4. Choose what to keepWhen uninstalling, keep settings and activation for a reinstall or remove all local app and diagnostic data.

After payment confirmation or redemption of an eligible key, the account dashboard provides the current Windows setup download and access to your license key. Run the setup, open the app and enter the license key when requested.

The app includes a Check for Updates action and can show whether the update and squad services are reachable. If an existing activation must be moved, use the account controls or open a support ticket.

When uninstalling, you can keep settings and activation for a future reinstall or remove all local application and diagnostic data. Optional diagnostic files are stored in %LOCALAPPDATA%\TheIsleMinimapDiagnostic so they can be found for troubleshooting or removed with a complete uninstall.
